The Changemakers Program: Turning Revenue Into Real-World Impact
Impact doesn’t stop at our supply chain.
For us, it extends into the rivers being cleaned, the forests being protected, and the communities doing the hard, daily work of restoration. That belief is what shaped the Changemakers Program, our formal commitment to funding and equipping nonprofit and impact-driven partners each year.
Building Impact Into the Business Model
From the beginning, we knew something important: impact should be structured, not occasional.
Through the Changemakers Program, we commit a minimum of 2% of our annual revenue to organizations creating measurable environmental and social change. Between 2022 and 2024, we went beyond that commitment, contributing an average of 9.5% of annual revenue to impact causes.
This isn’t a seasonal campaign or a limited-time initiative. It’s written into how we operate. As we grow, so does the support flowing into the communities and ecosystems we believe in.
Because revenue should be more than growth. It should be a resource.
Protecting Rivers Before Plastic Reaches the Sea
One of our long-term partners is Sungai Watch, an organization working to protect and restore rivers by designing simple, effective technologies that stop plastic pollution before it reaches the ocean.
Their work is especially visible here in Bali. After heavy flooding last year, riverbanks were left tangled not only with mud and debris but layers of plastic waste. Sungai Watch has been on the frontlines, intercepting debris and preventing thousands of kilograms of plastic from flowing into the sea.
To support their team, we equipped them with sustainably made caps from bucket hats to dad caps and panel styles built for durability in unpredictable weather. Under heavy rain during cleanups or long days in the sun, these pieces are designed for the people doing the work, rain or shine.
It’s a small layer of protection but a daily reminder that their impact matters.

Supporting Orangutan and Rainforest Conservation
Our Changemakers Program also supports the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation, an organization dedicated to conserving the endangered Bornean orangutan and protecting its rainforest habitat.
Fieldwork in Borneo’s tropical climate is demanding. Intense heat, humidity, and long days in remote areas are part of the job. To contribute to their efforts, we donated 100 hats engineered to withstand challenging rainforest conditions providing protection and comfort for teams working directly in conservation zones.
A hat may seem simple. But when you’re deep in the forest documenting wildlife, restoring habitat, or monitoring reforestation plots, reliable gear matters. For us, it represents something bigger: equipping those protecting biodiversity with tools built to last.
Rebuilding Coral Reefs, One Fragment at a Time
Marine ecosystems are another critical focus area.
Living Seas Foundation, a Bali-based nonprofit, works to restore coral reefs and preserve coastal environments by involving local communities to ensure long-term sustainability. Their team spends long days under the tropical sun planting coral fragments, monitoring reef systems, and leading educational dives.
Through the Changemakers Program, we equipped 50 team members with upcycled hats designed for durability and comfort supporting the people rebuilding marine ecosystems from the ground up.
Healthy reefs protect coastlines, sustain fisheries, and support entire communities. Supporting the people behind that work is one small way we can contribute to long-term resilience.

Why Alignment Matters
What connects these partnerships isn’t just donation, it’s alignment.
Each organization operates at the intersection of environmental protection and community involvement. They’re not working in isolation. They’re building systems that strengthen ecosystems and the people who depend on them.
By directing a fixed portion of revenue toward these initiatives, we ensure that our business growth directly translates into ecosystem restoration, wildlife conservation, and community resilience.
This is how we see responsible business practices: not as a separate department, but as a feedback loop between commerce and community.
Extending Impact Beyond the Product
The Changemakers Program allows us to extend our impact beyond internal policies and production practices.
We’ve spent years refining our materials, tracking our carbon footprint, and building transparent supply chains. But responsibility doesn’t end with how we make a product. It continues with who we choose to support.
Revenue becomes a tool not just for scaling a company, but for strengthening rivers, rainforests, and reefs.
Because responsibility isn’t only about how we operate.
It’s also about who we empower.
